There are two low tides and two high tides each day along the Oregon coast. As the tides move in and out, the beach sand constantly shifts and transforms, creating new and beautiful ripple-patterns. These simple line stitches were inspired by the constant movement and repatterning of the coastal area near Cascade Head, Oregon.
